BLUE DIVERS WHOLLY

Underground Aussie band Blue Divers have put out a new track called 'Wholly' on Bedroom Suck Records - a DIY label that "began in the steamy house shares of suburban Brisbane, perched over the crazy hills and tropical growth of that remarkable town". The new single is much more like a piece of meditation music than your average song due to its slow-paced, tactile nature. Delayed guitar plucks invite a soothing tempo, littered with sparkly, metallic jingles in the distance. Piano is played with the most tender of touch, creating stirring chords that allow emotions to rise. 'Wholly' creates a space of pure serenity, a peacefulness that we seldom experience in waking life. Blue Divers self-titled LP is out on 16th October as part of the Private Eyes series curated by Bedroom Suck Records. -Ellie Rose-Davies
